DIVISION II: BASIC SCIENCES AND APPLIED TECHNOLOGIES
Division of Basic Sciences and Applied Technologies was established in October 2021 (Official Gazette B’ 4770/18.10.2021) in order to support the smooth implementation of the curriculum of the IDPE department of UniWA. The aim of the Division is to promote applied technologies and basic sciences and to prepare, through teaching and research, engineers with all the necessary skills, both ethical and technological, that will allow them to successfully participate in postgraduate programmes, to support the study/research and implementation of Industrial Design and Production projects, while at the same time being able to follow the developments in these constantly evolving fields. The Department is staffed by 5 Faculty members, 2 Teaching Laboratory staff and 1 Special Technical Laboratory staff, who as a whole are able to provide excellent support for the twenty-three (23) courses of the MSc that are part of the Division of Basic Sciences and Applied Technologies.
